KIAB''s role is to assess early research projects with regard to their commercialization potential and their potential to be successful on the market, develop them and create new business opportunities.
The position - Senior Project and Business Developer
We are looking for a person who can successfully take responsibility for the assessment of project candidates and develop and lead complex Life Science projects towards commercial endpoints. The right candidate must also be able to make business packages that can be easily understood and attractive for licensees and to finish deals with investors or other interested parties.
The candidate will have an University degree in Life Science which could be combined with business education. He or she must have, and be able to expand, a broad network of contacts within Lifge Science, both in Sweden and internationally, that could be used when commercializing projects. Some dgree of scouting activities within academia to find new promising projects will also be involved. The right candidate must therefore have hands on experience of cooperation and communication both with business, life science industries and academia. Due to complex collaborations and complex project work strong leadership abilities and demonstrated experience from leadership roles is required.
