Nordic Marketing Manager Ophthalmics - Stockholm - Avslutad

The client company is one of the large international pharmaceutical companies working with projects from early discovery to the market. They work both with pharmaceuticals and consumer health products. The Nordic Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, adaption and execution of Global strategies in the Nordic area and is part of the Nordic Management Team Ophthalmics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for collaborating with Global and National Marketing team, as well as National Sales Managers, securing strategy implementation outlined in product strategies and operational plans
  • Accountable for developing Nordic Brand Strategies, Nordic Brand Plans and Nordic Sales Campaigns as well as facilitating the adaption of the Nordic material to local needs
  • Accountable for recruitment, development and coaching of Brand Managers in co-operation with the National Sales Manager
  • Accountable for building and fostering a team culture that values, recognises and generates a business oriented customer focused high performance
  • Accountable for developing the marketing skills within the business unit in the Nordic region
  • Accountable for setting personal objectives for all direct reports and for performing Annual Performance Reviews
  • Accountable for establishing Personal Development Plans for all direct reports
  • Accountable for rapidly acting on non-performers – coaches, counsels, supports, when needed, terminates
  • Accountable for the management of the National Brand Managers in their daily work in co-operation with Nordic Marketing Manager
  • Accountable for allocating Nordic projects to Brand Managers
  • Accountable for chairing Nordic Brand Teams in prioritised areas
  • Accountable for chairing Nordic Launch Readiness Teams
  • Accountable for personal detailing of top Nordic opinion leaders
  • Accountable for initiation and running of Nordic Advisory Boards
  • Accountable for negotiating and purchasing services from advertising agencies
  • Accountable for driving an lobbying for certain products and to drive market growth together with the Local Brand Manager and the Local Sales Manager

Education and Experience:

  • University degree in Science and/or Business, Higher degree in Business
  • More than 3 years experience of sales in speciality business
  • Extensive experience in Sales Management, Marketing position, Brand Manager or other
